When you are looking at the vision and mission of your business it’s easy to be confused about what they both mean.

This document explains the vision and the mission and gives you examples to illustrate the key differences to help you create yours much more easily.

  • Your vision is the long-term picture you have of what your business will look like and behave like in the future
  • Your mission is how you will achieve that
  • Your vision is a compelling imagining that will drive you towards achieving it – it will pull you to it
  • Your mission will be an action-oriented statement of steps required to achieve the vision
