Conference call/webinar etiquette

With more meetings being held online this document gives great help, support and advice to your participants in a teleconference or webinar environment.

It clearly explains how communication on such a call works and is useful to send to them in advance of your call.  Clearly, you can personalise this to suit the style of call you’re are running – presentation webinar, team call, coaching call, etc.  We give our weekly team call template which includes:

  • Invitation details – time, date, format, link to join or telephone number to dial in on
  • How to join in the conversation, including ‘raise hand’ and chat areas
  • Giving it your full attention and coming to the call prepared
  • Whether or not the call is being recorded for replay and where it will be available
  • Much more relevant information including muting, confidentiality, etc
